Water Breaker

A water breaker is a device used to break the force of incoming waves and protect boats and ships from damage. It is typically a structure made of concrete or steel that is placed offshore, parallel to the shore, and designed to dissipate the energy of the waves. Water breakers can be either submerged or above water, and their effectiveness depends on their size, shape, and orientation relative to the incoming waves. They are commonly used in harbors, marinas, and other areas where boats and ships are moored, and are an important component of coastal engineering.
