Anchor Line

An anchor line is a rope or chain that connects a vessel to its anchor. It is used to keep the vessel in place and prevent it from drifting away due to wind or current. The anchor line is usually made of nylon or steel and is attached to the anchor at one end and to the vessel at the other end. The length of the anchor line depends on the depth of the water and the size of the vessel. The anchor line is an essential component of a vessel's anchoring system and must be strong enough to withstand the forces of wind and waves.
