COGSA
COGSA stands for Carriage of Goods by Sea Act, which is a United States federal law that governs the rights, obligations, and liabilities of carriers and shippers involved in international maritime commerce. The act provides a framework for the transportation of goods by sea, including the responsibilities of the carrier, the shipper, and the consignee.
