CROB

CROB stands for Cargo Remaining On Board. It refers to the amount of cargo that remains on a vessel after a portion of it has been discharged at a port of call. CROB is an important consideration for ship owners, charterers, and cargo interests as it affects the vessel's stability, draft, and trim. The CROB must be accurately calculated to ensure that the vessel remains within safe operating limits and that the remaining cargo is properly secured for the remainder of the voyage.
