Deck Crew


Deck crew refers to the group of individuals who are responsible for the maintenance and operation of the deck department on a ship. This includes a variety of tasks such as cleaning and painting the deck, handling mooring lines, operating deck machinery, and performing lookout duties. The deck crew is also responsible for ensuring the safety of the ship and its passengers by following proper safety procedures and responding to emergencies. Members of the deck crew typically include able seamen, ordinary seamen, and boatswain's mates, among others.
