Gas Free certification is required before any hot work, such as welding or grinding, can be carried out in the space. The Gas Free certificate is issued by a qualified Gas Free Engineer or Gas Free Inspector, who is responsible for ensuring that all safety procedures have been followed and that the space is safe for entry.
