Maritime Health

Maritime Health refers to the physical, mental, and social well-being of seafarers and other individuals working in the maritime industry. It encompasses a range of health issues, including but not limited to, infectious diseases, mental health, occupational injuries, and chronic illnesses. Due to the unique working conditions and environment of the maritime industry, seafarers are at a higher risk of developing health problems. Maritime Health aims to promote and maintain the health of seafarers through preventative measures, early detection, and treatment of illnesses. It also involves providing access to medical care and support services while at sea or in port.
