Mud Scow

A mud scow is a flat-bottomed vessel used for transporting dredged material, such as mud, silt, or sand, from one place to another. Mud scows are typically unpowered and are towed by a tugboat or pushed by a pushboat. They are commonly used in dredging operations to transport the dredged material to a disposal site or to a processing facility. Mud scows are also used in construction projects to transport materials such as gravel, sand, or soil. They are designed to be stable and have a large carrying capacity. Mud scows are often made of steel or wood and can range in size from small barges to large vessels.
