NCEC

The National Coordinating and Evaluation Center (NCEC) is a United States government agency responsible for coordinating and evaluating the response to a national security or public health emergency. In the maritime context, NCEC plays a critical role in responding to incidents that may impact the safety and security of the nation's ports and waterways. NCEC works closely with other federal agencies, state and local governments, and private sector partners to ensure a coordinated and effective response to maritime incidents, such as oil spills, terrorist attacks, and natural disasters.
