Risk Control

Risk control is the process of identifying, assessing, and prioritizing risks in order to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of unfortunate events or to maximize the realization of opportunities. In the maritime context, risk control is crucial for ensuring the safety of ships, crew, and cargo, as well as protecting the environment. It involves implementing measures to prevent accidents, such as regular maintenance and inspections, training and education of crew members, and the use of safety equipment. Risk control also includes emergency response planning and procedures, such as drills and exercises, to ensure that the crew is prepared to respond effectively in case of an incident.
