Sleepers

Sleepers are wooden or concrete beams laid horizontally on the seabed to support the weight of a pier or other structure. They are used to distribute the load of the structure evenly across the seabed, preventing it from sinking into the soft sediment. Sleepers are typically placed in a grid pattern and secured to the seabed using piles or anchors. They are an important component of many maritime structures, including piers, jetties, and offshore platforms.
