Survival Skill

Survival skill refers to the ability to stay alive and cope with the challenges of the maritime environment in emergency situations. It includes knowledge of basic survival techniques such as finding and purifying water, building shelter, starting a fire, signaling for help, and administering first aid. Survival skill also involves understanding the risks and hazards of the sea, such as hypothermia, dehydration, and drowning, and taking appropriate measures to prevent or mitigate them. In addition, it encompasses mental and emotional resilience, adaptability, and resourcefulness in the face of adversity.
