Galley Stack

Galley Stack refers to the exhaust system of a ship's galley or kitchen. It is designed to remove smoke, steam, and other cooking fumes from the galley and release them outside the ship. The Galley Stack is usually located on the ship's superstructure and is made up of a vertical duct that extends from the galley to the top of the stack. The stack is equipped with a fan that helps to draw the fumes out of the galley and push them up and out of the stack. The Galley Stack is an important safety feature on board ships as it helps to prevent fires and ensures that the air in the galley is safe to breathe.
