ISPPC
ISPPC stands for International Ship and Port Facility Security Code. It is a comprehensive set of measures to enhance the security of ships and port facilities, developed in response to the perceived threats to ships and port facilities in the wake of the 9/11 attacks. The ISPPC provides a standardized framework for evaluating risk, enabling governments, port authorities, and shipping companies to cooperate more effectively in detecting and preventing security threats. The code covers a range of security-related issues, including access control, cargo and baggage handling, and security training for personnel.
