Load Eater Line

A Load Eater Line is a heavy-duty mooring line used to secure a vessel to a dock or another vessel. It is designed to absorb sudden shock loads caused by waves, wind, or currents, and prevent damage to the vessel or the mooring system. The Load Eater Line is made of high-strength synthetic fibers or steel wire, and is typically larger in diameter than other mooring lines. It is often used as the first line of defense in a mooring system, and is attached to the strongest part of the vessel's hull. The Load Eater Line is an essential component of safe and efficient mooring operations.
