Navigational Coordinate

Navigational coordinate is a system used to determine the position of a vessel at sea. It is a set of values that define a point in a two or three-dimensional space relative to a reference point. The most commonly used navigational coordinate system is the latitude and longitude system, which uses the Earth's equator and prime meridian as reference points. Other navigational coordinate systems include the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) system, which uses a grid system to define positions, and the polar coordinate system, which uses the distance and direction from a fixed point. Navigational coordinates are essential for safe navigation and are used in electronic navigation systems, such as GPS and radar.
