Navigational Warning

A navigational warning is a message issued by a maritime authority to inform mariners of important navigational information or hazards that may affect safe navigation. Navigational warnings can be issued for a variety of reasons, including the presence of navigational hazards such as wrecks, shoals, or other obstructions, changes in navigational aids or channels, or other important information such as military exercises or weather conditions. Navigational warnings are typically broadcast via radio or other communication channels and may also be published in navigational charts or other publications.
