Pinnipeds

Pinnipeds are a group of marine mammals that includes seals, sea lions, and walruses. They are characterized by their streamlined bodies, which are adapted for swimming, and their flippers, which are used for propulsion in the water. Pinnipeds are found in all of the world's oceans, as well as in some freshwater habitats. They are carnivorous, feeding on a variety of fish, squid, and other marine invertebrates. Pinnipeds are important predators in marine ecosystems, and they are also hunted by humans for their meat, oil, and fur.
