LASH Carrier

A LASH (Lighter Aboard Ship) Carrier is a type of vessel designed to transport barges called lighters. These lighters are loaded onto the LASH Carrier using a crane and then secured in place. The LASH Carrier can transport multiple lighters at once, which can be loaded and unloaded quickly and efficiently. This type of vessel is commonly used for transporting cargo between ports that do not have adequate facilities for loading and unloading large ships. LASH Carriers are often used for transporting military equipment and supplies, as well as other heavy or oversized cargo.
